Is BigBen Motors an authorised BE FORWARD agent?
Yes. BigBen Motors is an authorised BE FORWARD agent in Zimbabwe. BigBen Motors is a separate business and is not BE FORWARD itself. The official BE FORWARD website is beforward.jp.
How do I request a vehicle?
Use the request form or message us on WhatsApp. Tell us the make, model, year range and budget, and we will come back to you to discuss options.
Can I request a specific make and model?
Yes. You can name a specific model or describe what you need, such as a 4x4 diesel with automatic transmission, and we will discuss what is suitable.
How do I discuss my budget?
Share an approximate budget and the currency in your request. We will talk through what is realistic, and which costs beyond the vehicle price you should plan for, before you commit to anything.
Which countries can vehicles be sourced from?
This depends on the vehicle you want. Ask us about the country you prefer and we will confirm what is possible for your request.
How does international shipping work?
After the importation arrangements are confirmed, the vehicle is shipped by sea to a port. Shipping is handled with third-party shipping providers. Timelines vary, and we do not promise fixed delivery dates.
What costs should I consider?
Typically the vehicle price, shipping, insurance, customs duties and taxes, clearance and documentation, registration, and delivery within Zimbabwe. We will help you understand the total before you proceed.
What documents may be required?
Requirements depend on your circumstances and current regulations. Ask us early, and confirm the current requirements with the relevant Zimbabwean authorities.
How does customs clearance work?
Imported vehicles must be cleared through customs, and duties and taxes depend on current regulations and the vehicle. We can discuss the process with you. We cannot guarantee clearance or calculate duties without verified, current information.
Can I get assistance with registration?
We can discuss the registration steps with you. Registration itself is handled by the relevant authorities. Ask us what support is available for your case.
Does BigBen Motors assist with vehicle delivery?
Ask us about delivery within Zimbabwe. Delivery areas and fees are confirmed per request.
How does the civil-servant importation programme work?
Eligible civil servants may be able to access vehicle-importation concessions subject to applicable government requirements and approval. Eligibility must be confirmed, and BigBen Motors cannot approve it. See the civil servants page.
